Most of you know that I try to stay positive on BCI, even when teams are struggling. But after losses to BU, Columbia, and Fairfield, the BC women’s basketball season is looking bleak. The student athletes are trying their hardest, but it isn’t their fault if there is a coaching or recruiting problem that is keeping the team from succeeding. On Wednesday, BC WBB will face Holy Cross on the road. A Boston College women’s basketball team should absolutely be able to beat a Holy Cross women’s basketball team, but from where we are standing right now that seems unlikely. There are talented players on this BC squad, so I hope they prove me wrong, but we shall see.
