Correction: The SEC and Pac-12 have also announced plans to create their own SiriusXM channels. The article has been changed to reflect this.
The Atlantic Coast Conference and SiriusXM announced Monday that the two are creating a radio station to be carried on the company’s airwaves.
The channel will be entitled “SiriusXM ACC Radio,” and will be available on channel 371 on select SiriusXM radios.
The channel will have assorted ACC content, including original studio programming and coverage of the conference’s media days for football and basketball.
Broadcasts of football, basketball and baseball will also be carried on SiriusXM ACC Radio.
This comes on the heels of the SEC and Pac-12 announcing satellite channels of their own.
The channel will be launched sometime in early 2018, the conference announced in its press release.
It should be noted, however, that the channel will only be available on select SiriusXM radios and online at SiriusXM.com.
