The Boston College Eagles defeated the Columbia Lions 81-66 Tuesday night. Jerome Robinson and Jordan Chatman led the way for the Eagles with 21 and 20 points respectively. Ky Bowman had 13 points in 37 minutes of play.
Robinson was also strong from the stripe, going 9-for-9 on free throw attempts for the game.
For Columbia, it was the Mike Smith show, as he led the way with 25 points, scoring the lions’ share of points for Columbia. He also pulled six defensive rebounds in the Lions’ effort.
After the game against the Lions, the Eagles improved to 8-3 on the year, and are on a three game winning streak dating back to the 73-61 defeat of the Hartford Hawks on Dec. 2.
The Lions fell to 1-10 on the year.
The Eagles are back in action on Sunday, Dec. 17 at 1 P.M. as the Eagles take on Central Connecticut State at Conte Forum.
