Boston College Women’s Hockey Weekend Preview: Providence and Syracuse

This weekend, the Eagles will face a hot Providence team and a struggling Syracuse team...that has its only win of the season against the Friars. The Eagles will have to quickly adjust to the loss of freshman defensive standout Cayla Barnes, who has joined Team USA. Providence will be an early test of how well BC can perform now that 3 of the team’s top defensive players are away preparing for the Olympics. BC should be able to handle both of these teams, but this could be an interesting weekend.
