That escalated quickly.

The momentum that BC had in the second quarter certainly carried past halftime, as the Eagles opened the third with a touchdown run from Jon Hilliman, then duped UConn quarterback David Pindell into an interception returned 65 yards by Taj-Amir Torres.

Despite a missed extra point, BC still held a 24-point advantage less than six minutes into the third frame.

Then, following an interception by Lukas Denis, AJ Dillon rumbled in for a 2-yard score to make it 33-3, after another missed PAT. The run put the freshman over 200 yards in a game for the second time of his young career.

Stay with us for the end of this one, as the Eagles look to lock down bowl eligibility.
