BC men’s hockey has a big weekend coming up and it starts tonight with a game against UNH. The Wildcats currently sit at fourth in the Hockey East standings and they always give BC a good fight when the Eagles visit New Hampshire. The Eagles still aren’t perfect, but the team has been looking sharper in recent games. The interesting storyline this weekend will be goaltending - will Coach York go with a struggling Joe Woll or with backup Ryan Edquist, who made 60 saves over 2 games last week?

Ice Cream of the Game
Many of our other previews feature a beverage of the game, but this year we’ll be picking an ice cream dessert of the game for MIH games. Why, you ask? Because when Jerry York got the BC coaching job, he went out for ice cream sundaes to celebrate.
Considering that it is November and that pumpkin is New Hampshire state fruit, tonight’s ice cream treat suggestion is a pumpkin ice cream sandwich. Added bonus - it’s easy to grab when you get home late after getting back to Boston from NH!
Every game, we have the cats of the Ellen M. Gifford Cat Shelter (located right across from BC at 30 Undine Road) predict the outcome of the games. The Gifford Cat Shelter is the oldest cageless, no-kill shelter in the USA.
The cat shelter is closed this week, so cat predictions will appear if and when either of my cats wake up enough to do them :)
