Anthony Brown Out for Season

NCAA Football: North Carolina State at Boston College Greg M. Cooper-USA TODAY Sports

BC coach Steve Addazio announced that starting quarterback Anthony Brown will miss the rest of the season with a “leg injury”. Brown suffered the injury in Saturday’s game against NC State.

Senior Darius Wade is expected to be the starter but Addazio confirmed that freshman EJ Perry would be available if need be. John Fadule has already been ruled out for the season after an injury earlier.

Brown finishes his freshman season with 1,367 yards passing to go along with 11 TD and 9 INT. He also rushed for 210 yards and a touchdown.

Also of note, during the press conference Steve Addazio announced that senior cornerback Kamrin Moore is considered “day to day” after being knocked out of the game against N.C. State. He was replaced by Hamp Cheevers after the injury.

Boston College has two more remaining games, and a possible bowl game upcoming. Darius Wade currently is 23-40 for 225 yards and one interception.
