Cayla Barnes, Emily Pfalzer, Megan Keller, Kali Flanagan, and Alex Carpenter earned gold medals today as the USWNT beat Canada to win the 2017 Four Nations Cup. Team USA went undefeated in the tournament, beating Canada twice and both Sweden and Finland once.

Team USA started the scoring today, with Hannah Brandt scoring twice in the final minutes of the second period. Canada scored halfway through the third period, but Team USA could not be beat and quickly ran away with the game. Hilary Knight put the Americans up 3-1 with under two minutes left in the match and Amanda Kessel quickly increased the lead to 3 goals. With just 17 seconds left in the game, Kendall Coyne put one home for a final score of 5-1. The Americans now lead Canada 3-1 in pre-Olympics play.

Your next chance to watch Team USA is December 3, when the USWNT will play Canada (again) in St. Paul, Minnesota.
