The Eagles won both of their games this weekend

The Boston College volleyball team earned their first two ACC wins of the season this weekend, going 2-0 against Georgia Tech and Clemson. This was a big weekend for the Eagles, who have had some strong sets against opponents but have struggled to win.

On Friday, the Eagles won 3 straight sets to defeat Georgia Tech 3-1. Jill Strockis led the match with 15 digs and Jane DeJarld led with 29 assists. As a team, the Eagles led GT 7 aces to 1. BC lost the first set of the night 25-21 after allowing GT to go on a few scoring runs. BC dominated for the rest of the game, winning the remaining sets 25-17, 25-19, and 25-20.

On Sunday, BC swept Clemson for a 3-0 victory. The Eagles and the Tigers played a back and forth first set, with BC ultimately taking a 26-24 victory. The Eagles took that victory and ran with it, winning the remaining sets by decisive scores of 25-10 and 25-12.
