Here come the Hokies! Boston College welcomes #16 Virginia Tech to Alumni stadium tonight in a game with huge implications for both teams. The Eagles need to build on last week's win against Central Michigan if they hope to have any momentum going forward and make a bowl game. VTech, on the other hand, has much a higher goal: the ACC Championship Game, presumably a rematch against Clemson. Can Harold Landry and friends derail the Hokies’ season? Let’s find out!

For those of you paying attention, you should know by now that the BC Alumni Association of New York has two "BC bars" in Manhattan, where each week fans and alumni can gather to watch the game. At Joshua Tree, the long-standing home of BC Alumni in New York, continues to host with special BC menus, BC decorations all over the bar, playing the fight song for every TD, and the staff all wear BC shirts. Dewey's Pub (I’ll be there this week!) has opened their doors open to BC fans and are continuing to deliver some great service. Once again, there will be free 30 minutes of Bud Light open bar prior to kickoff, and drinks sponsored by Jameson at halftime and maroon and gold Jello shots. Their weekly specials of Lower Dining Hall Steak and Cheese, the New England Classic, and the "ALS Wing Bucket Challenge" will continue as well!
The Chicago Chapter of the BC Alumni Association is doing another game watch for the Clemson game this week at Tobacco Road Tap Room! There will be a $35 all you can drink wristband for domestic beers and well/rail drinks for 3 hours starting 30 minutes prior to kickoff, as well as more food and drink specials! This week is a co-watch party with Virginia Tech alumni, so play nice and have a great time!
BC’s BEST CHANCE TO WIN
Virginia Tech and Bud Foster are going to terrorize the offense all day, so if BC wants to win it needs to stay close and low scoring. If BC can convert shots downfield and score early, they have a chance. On defense, Lukas Denis needs to continue his breakout season and grab some passes out of the air.
