Boston College is all be assured a bowl game after they defeated the Florida State Seminoles on Friday night. Just one more victory and they will be heading to a bowl for the 4th time in 5 years under head coach Steve Addazio. Now the question is, where will they be bowling and against whom? We searched through various sites and blogs to find what they are predicting:
New Era Pinstripe Bowl
Yankee Stadium, New York
Dec. 27, 5:15 p.m. (ESPN)
Bonagura: Boston College vs. Michigan State
Hale: Boston College vs. Minnesota
AJ’s Take: Yes please, another trip to New York would be fantastic, and would love to see BC either face Row Your Boat or MSU again.
Quick Lane (Detroit): Boston College vs. EMU
AJ’s Take: I’m not sure BC is going to go to Detroit for the second straight year. Also, I pray this doesn’t happen, three games against MAC opponents is a little overkill.
Boston College vs. Minnesota
AJ’s Take: Again, yes please.
Military Bowl Presented by Northrop Grumman, Annapolis, Md. (1:30 p.m., ESPN) Boston College vs. Navy
AJ’s Take: Not the best matchup I have seen, but a game against a service academy is certainly better than a MACrifice.
New Era Pinstripe Bowl: Boston College vs. Iowa
AJ’s Take: Again a game against a Big Ten opponent, this would be a fun matchup, Iowa fans would travel well.
Quick Lane Bowl: Boston College vs. Nebraska
AJ’s Take: While normally I would be all about a matchup against the Cornhuskers, they most likely won’t have a head coach so that kind of loses its allure.
