Hockey East has announced that tomorrow’s Frozen Fenway games have been postponed to Sunday, January 8th due to the incoming snow storm. Both games will be played 24 hours later than originally scheduled.

Boston University and UMass, who were scheduled to play at 1:30 tomorrow, will now take the ice at 1:30 this Sunday. Boston College and Providence will play following the conclusion of that game and are scheduled to begin at 5 PM.

BC and PC’s game will count as a home game for Providence - the Eagles will not play at PC this season.

The extra day could be good for the Eagles, as it allows the 5 players that have returned from World Juniors more time to practice with the team. It also gives Ryan Fitzgerald, who may or may not play on Sunday, an extra day as he recovers from injury.

Tickets for Saturday’s games will be good for Sunday’s rescheduled matches.
