2017 DB Jason Pinnock Decommits From Boston College

Eagles lose another one.

Boston College football lost a 2017 recruit today as Windsor, CT defensive back went to Twitter to announce that he has decommitted from the Eagles:

Pinnock, a 2* recruit from Connecticut, holds an offer from Pittsburgh and lesser schools such as UConn. As you can see above BC is still in the running for Pinnock, and I wouldn’t put it past the Eagles to land him, as they still are on the books for an official visit from him on January 20th.

Again, don’t think this has anything to do with Al Washington’s departure, as his primary areas were down south (Paul Pasqualoni recruits CT). Could Randy Edsall’s be part of the reason? As Pinnock said above he isn’t going to be talking about it, and of course we will respect that.

This frees up a scholarship for the Eagles heading into the home stretch towards National Signing Day. Earlier today 3* cornerback Rashad Stewart chose Cincinnati over the Eagles, but there may be others that BC could land before February 1st.
