Boston College was defeated in their first road game of the season, falling to the Demon Deacons of Wake Forest 79-66. The Eagles led by as many as 5 points, and took a 37-35 lead into halftime. Up 43-38, Jim Christian and company would surrender a 20-3 run, giving Wake a 12 point lead from which the Eagles could not recover. The three point shooting, which had been stellar for BC against Syracuse, was less than spectacular tonight, as the Eagles went 5-30 from downtown. Jerome Robinson, despite shooting 1--5 from 3, led the Eagles with 20 points—his 11th 20-point-game of the season.
