Things to Look Out For With Miami:

  1. Home Is Where the Heart Is: Miami has lost a total of one game at home this year, which was to Notre Dame earlier this month. An astute observer would note that the Hurricanes’ home slate this year hasn’t been particularly strong, and that observer would be right, but Miami has definitely been a tough place to play this year, and might cause a BC team that has struggled on the road headaches.
  2. Inconsistencies : Our sister blog State of the U.com talked about how the ‘Canes can be inconsistent in games. For example, the defense holds teams to low amounts of points, but the offense can struggle. BC’s best chance is to exploit these inconsistencies.

I found this beer completely by accident. I walked into the Wisconsin Brewing Brewhaus on State Street in Madison because it didn’t look too crowded on a Saturday evening. I ordered the Badger Club because I like Amber Lagers, and I was not disappointed. I don’t know if you can get it in Boston, but if you can, get as much as you can, and then tell me where you got it.

Predictions:

The Fighting Ibises will have an upper hand.

Arthur: 75-61 Miami

Laura: 77-70 BC

Grant: ⅔-⅝ Miami

John “Coach” Fidler: 74-66 Miami Canes struggle on the road, but solid at home and defend exceptionally well

Eric: 79-70 Miami A potential nice spot for BC as this game is sandwiched between Duke and UNC for the Canes. Eagles have to show me a little more on road though before I pick an upset
