Matt Ryan is heading to his first Super Bowl following a 44-21 victory in the NFC Championship. Ryan and his Falcons defeated Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers in Sunday’s game. Atlanta will play the winner of the Patriots/Steelers game. Former Boston College linebacker Josh Keyes will also be on the field for Atlanta in the big game.
The Falcons got off to an early lead and went into the second half up 24-0. The Packers managed to get on the board during the third and fourth quarters, but it wasn’t enough to stage a comeback.
Ryan had 392 passing yards in the game and had 4 passing touchdowns and 1 rushing touchdown. Ryan has been dominant this season, but having such a terrific game in the NFC Championship is sure to silence his doubters.
Super Bowl LI will be played on Sunday, February 5 at 6:30 PM in Houston Texas. The game will air on Fox and will feature a halftime performance by Lady Gaga.
Congrats to Matty Ice on the big win - one more to the trophy!
