Eagles in the Pros 1/9-1/15: Cam Atkinson Continues to Lead Columbus to Victory

Featuring more goals for Cam Atkinson, Steve Santini’s first NHL goal, and an assist for Thatcher Demko.

Cam Atkinson (Columbus Blue Jackets): Atkinson continues to impress and we continue to be mad that he didn’t make the All Star Game. He scored 2 goals last week, bringing his season total to 21. He is tied for third in the NHL in goals. He scored a wraparound against the Hurricanes and a one-timer against the Panthers.

Brian Boyle (Tampa Bay Lightning): Boyle recorded an assist in Tampa’s victory over Buffalo.

Patrick Eaves (Dallas Stars): Eaves scored the final goal in Dallas’ win over Detroit, earning his 15th of the season.

Johnny Gaudreau (Calgary Flames): Gaudreau set up Calgary’s only goal in the 2-1 loss to Edmonton.

Brian Gionta (Buffalo Sabres): Gionta scored in Buffalo’s 5-2 loss to Carolina. His goal was unassisted on the penalty kill.

Stephen Gionta (New York Islanders): Gionta was a healthy scratch last week.
