Here is the depth chart for the upcoming matchup against the Wagner Seahawks. There doesn’t appear to be many changes this week, the only big ones I noticed was that Ben Glines has been listed as a wide receiver and that Elijah Johnson is now listed as an “or” as a potential starter.
Glines is an intriguing option at wide receiver, someone that Steve Addazio has spoken highly of the past two camps, but hasn’t seen the field often. He’s a quick receiver, probably playing the slot.
It’s understandable that Addazio is contemplating making a move at offensive line. Both Jim Cashman and Elijah Johnson have seen major minutes at left guard, and you have to imagine that he’s going to go with whatever player continues to improve.
Finally, this is the Wagner game, and as we saw last year against Howard, this depth chart will probably be thrown away within a quarter (especially if BC is scoring). Expect the Eagles to empty their bench and for all players not redshirted to see the field. Optimally we will be seeing Darius Wade in the second half, but we shall see.
