The Boston College Eagles men’s soccer team continued its march through the pre-conference-schedule part of the season Friday afternoon in Chestnut Hill. Not unlike the two previous matches, the Eagles emerged from Friday afternoon’s matchup against Hofstra victorious, downing the Hofstra Pride 2-0 to improve to 3-0-0 on the season.

The Eagles scored the eventual decisive goal early in the match. In the 17th minute, Zeiko Lewis directed a pass to Simon Enstrom in the box. Enstrom found the back of the net, giving the Eagles a lead that the team would not relinquish.
Late in the game, the Eagles added an insurance goal. Maximillian Schulz-Geisthovel continued a now three-game goal streak in the 90th minute, punctuating the Eagles third win of the season.
Fans of the Eagles will not have to wait long to see the team in action again, as the Eagles will play the Villanova Wildcats in Newton on Sunday, Sept. 4, at 5 pm.
