Boston College utterly humiliated by Virginia Tech

To think, I was kind of looking forward to this game.

As I write this post, it’s 49-0 Virginia Tech with about 10 minutes left in the game. Why bother waiting til the end of this game to write a post? Maybe it ended 56-0. Maybe it ended 49-7. What difference does it make?

This was the most complete and utter humiliation suffered by BC in the Steve Addazio years, and maybe the worst loss ever suffered in ACC play. It’s Fuente’s first year as VT’s coach, and Addazio’s fourth at BC. Needless to say... not good. Especially against a team BC beat in consecutive years in 2013 and 2014.

We’re going to do the best we can to break down this game in the next few days, but honestly, what is there to say? This was a complete and utter pantsing, genuinely one of the worst performances in the 110+ year history of Boston College football.

Last year, despite all the struggles, BC’s worst loss was only by 17 - to Clemson. We can only hope it doesn’t get any worse than this.

I don’t even know what to say.
