Following another two-win week women's soccer has jumped two spots in the weekly rankings, going from #13 to #11.
The Eagles are 7-0-1 after defeating both Harvard and Northeastern this week. Northeastern almost handed BC their first loss of the year on Sunday, but the Eagles were saved by a last second goal and an OT win.
Other ACC teams in the Top 25 are: Florida State (4), Virginia Tech (5), Duke (8), UNC (9), Clemson (15), Virginia Tech (16), and Notre Dame (25).
The Eagles will face their first major challenge this week when they play Duke on Saturday. Duke is both BC's first ACC opponent and their first Top 25 opponent. Duke has stayed fairly steady in the rankings, while BC has continue moving up with every win. Duke has a 5-2-1 record and has also yet to play an ACC match.
Before taking on Duke, the Eagles will face LIU Brooklyn at home on Wednesday at 4 PM. The Blackbirds are 0-6, so the biggest challenge for BC will be focusing on the game at hand instead of looking forward to Duke.
