Boston College has had its fair share of struggles through the air, and in the kicking game, but found some level of consistency against UMass Saturday.
Filling in for injured kicker Colton Lichtenberg, punter Mike Knoll handled the kicking duties, going 2/2 on kicks of 40 and 38 yards (though he did miss an extra point, after a penalty moved the try back). Knoll also needed to handle his normal punting duties, and the Eagles were using a new holder, so coach Addazio was impressed with Knoll's day on the whole. The coach also liked what he saw from his quarterback and receivers as well.
