If you’re ambitious enough to be out of bed early enough to go out for Saturday’s Boston College football opener, which kicks off at 7:30 AM ET from Dublin, there aren’t very many options for places that will be open that early. In addition, it appears the BC alumni association and BC athletics have not scheduled a formal game watch in Boston.
Yesterday, BC Interruption reached out to Champions, a sports bar located in the Marriot Copley Place, which opens at 6:30 AM every day for breakfast. They confirmed that they will be airing the BC game live, and encourage Eagles fans to gather to watch the game.
Champions features over 40 TVs and speakers at your table so you can hear the action. Given that BC-Georgia Tech is probably the only major sporting event going on Saturday morning (even EPL soccer has the weekend off due to World Cup qualifying), most of the bar should have the game on, so you can enjoy breakfast while cheering on BC.
Thank you to Champions Boston for confirming they’ll be airing the game - I know we’ve had many fans reach out asking if there’s a game watch in Boston.
