The Boston College football team has landed in Dublin, and chances are many of the BC traveling fans are on their way today or tomorrow. Here’s a look at upcoming events this weekend surrounding the game.
Thursday, September 1

Joint faculty symposium: Hosted by Trinity College Dublin, hear from faculty of Trinity, BC and Georgia Tech about international collaborations in education, research and innovation.
4:30 PM-5:30 PM
Welcome Parade: in Dublin’s Parnell Square. Join the BC and Georgia Tech bands and cheerleaders in a Welcome Parade through the historic Downtown.
6:00 PM-8:30 PM
Marching Band Classic: The BC and Georgia Tech bands will perform, along with a number of local Irish school bands. The event will be held in Malahide Castle.

IDA Ireland Business Breakfast: At the Royal College of PHysicians, 1 Setanta Pl. in Dublin, join a breakfast conversation about successful companies that have set up shop in Ireland.

Pep Rallies: BC and Georgia Tech will each host a pre-game pep rally at Trinity College.

Leinster Rugby match: BC fans are invited to cheer on Leinster, one of the most storied rugby clubs, play a league match against Benneton Rugby Treviso. The game will be held at the RDS Stadium in Ballsbridge.
