Women's Soccer Moves up in Rankings to #22

The Eagles are 3-0-1 so far this season.

Following a decisive win over BU on Sunday, the BC women's soccer team has moved up to #22 in the weekly rankings. The Eagles, who were 25th in preseason rankings, moved up one spot from last week. The Eagles are currently 3-0-1, and their wins include two shutouts. BC has outshot their opponents 93-28 and outscored them 11-2.

The ACC remains one of the most competitive conferences in NCAA women's soccer - 7 of the 14 teams in the conference are ranked. Other than BC, the ACC teams in the top 25 are: FSU (2nd), Virginia (3rd), Duke (5th), UNC (7th), Clemson (9th) and Virginia Tech (12th).

The Eagles have yet to take on an ACC rival. Their first ACC match is on September 17th, when they'll take on Duke in Durham.

The Eagles have two games this upcoming weekend, both at home. BC plays the Cincinnati Bearcats on Thursday night, and the University of the Pacific at noon on Sunday. Cincinnati is currently 3-0-1, while Pacific has struggled so far this season and have yet to win a game. Pacific will visit UConn on Friday night before traveling to play BC.
