The NWHL announced today that Emily Field has re-signed with the Boston Pride. Field signed a one-year, $11,000 contract with Boston's NWHL team.
Last season, Field scored 4 goals and recorded 3 assists for the Pride. She played in every regular and post-season game, helping Boston to win the first ever Isobel Cup. Field also had the honor of playing in the first NWHL All-Star game.
Two of Field's BC teammates, Blake Bolden and Lexi Bender, have already signed with the Pride for the 2016-17 season.
Field graduated from BC in 2015, following 4 solid seasons with the Eagles. She had her best season as a sophomore, scoring 16 goals and putting up 29 assists. As a senior she recorded 29 points and had a career high plus/minus rating of +28.
Field is a consistent player that can set up good plays for her teammates. The Pride will now have to sign some top scorers and/or top draft picks to keep up the offense that helped them win the Isobel Cup.
