Boston College fans should have their fingers crossed this afternoon, as Class of 2017 Virginia 4* safety Jonathan Sutherland is set to make his college decision today at 3pm.
Decision day! Thank you to all the Coaches that have invested in me #Grateful #3pm

Sutherland, who attends Episcopal in Alexandria Virginia, is a legit safety with all the big offers. Recently he cut Michigan from his list, and as of right now his final four according to Twitter is Boston College, Syracuse, Wisconsin and Penn State. Don’t get too excited yet though, as Sutherland recently visited Happy Valley, and according to reports it sounds like the Nittany Lions are in the driver seat. Recruiting can be difficult to predict, but according to 247, a slew of new predictions have come in, all of them picking PSU.
BC recently picked up the commitment from another defensive back, Tate Haynes, but you have to imagine that even with the scholarship crunch, the Eagles would take a player like Sutherland.
Will he choose the Eagles? Check out Twitter at 3pm to find out the answer.
