Help Support Scott Savage and the Big E Foundation

Savage is helping to organize the Foundation's 5th annual 2 on 2 hockey tournament.

Many of the BC hockey related charity events happen on the east coast, but Scott Savage has an event for those of you in California! Savage is helping to organize The Big E Foundation's 5th Annual 2 on 2 Hockey Tournament. There will be spots for skaters in the midgets, college, and junior levels. The tournament will be held at Shoot2Score Hockey in San Clemente, CA on August 7.

The Big E Foundation, which the tournament will benefit, was founded in honor of Ian Jenkins, who was a friend of both Thatcher Demko and Savage. Jenkins was a top USA goalie prospect. The Foundation honors Jenkins' motto: "Have a purpose." Proceeds will support amateur ice hockey and other sports through equipment donations, grants, and scholarships. The foundation also promotes organ donation.

Those interested in playing in the tournament can find more information here. More information about The Big E Foundation can be found at http://www.bigefoundation.org.
