As the women’s hockey offseason trudges through the summer months, the upcoming schedule is beginning to take shape. One of the Boston College Eagles’ future out-of-conference opponents has released its schedule. The reigning ECAC Hockey champion Quinnipiac Bobcats will play the Eagles in a home-and-home series in October.
As was reported early last week, the Eagles will travel to Hamden, Conn., to take on the Bobcats on Oct. 22. In addition, BC will host the Bobcats at Kelley Rink on Oct. 21.

The two games will mark the 24th and 25th meetings between the two teams, per a Quinnipiac press release from the previous meeting between the two teams. The Eagles have historically dominated the series, owning a 16-4-3 record against the Bobcats. One of the 16 BC wins came in the previous meeting between the two teams, a 2-1 Eagles victory at Kelley Rink. Incidentally, the Bobcats have never beaten the Eagles at Kelley Rink, only mustering one tie in 10 appearances (0-9-1) in Chestnut Hill.
