The country’s most famous college football prognosticator sees better days ahead for Boston College Football this season. Phil Steele has released his annual Phil Steele’s College Football Preview and has the Eagles earmarked as one of the most improved team in the country. Here are some of the more intriguing takes from Steele on BC:

-BC comes in as the 5th most improved team in the country and Steele predicts that Steve Addazio gets his team back to a bowl game. The Eagles are penciled in to a Pinstripe Bowl rematch against Penn State.

-Steele ranks the Eagles as the 4th place team in the ACC Atlantic

-The linebackers are ranked as the 24th best linebacker unit in the country and 2nd best in the ACC. The defensive backs are ranked 34th best in the nation and 5th best in the ACC

-The BC wide receivers are ranked as the worst wide out unit in the ACC

-There were no players on Steele’s 1st Team All-ACC team. John Johnson, Jimmy Lowery, Harold Landry, Matt Milano, Connor Strahan, and Michael Walker were spread across the 2nd-4th All-ACC Teams.
