Milon on the Move?

Although nothing is official yet, it looks like there is a good chance that Boston College guard Matt Milon will look to transfer.

Although nothing is official yet, it looks like there is a good chance that Boston College guard Matt Milon will look to transfer. Yesterday, Milon’s AAU coach Willie Anderson tweeted that Milon has been granted permission to contact other schools. A BC source confirmed that Milon has made it known that he will explore transfer options, although he has not officially asked for his release yet.

Milon is the second BC player that’s rumored to be transferring, with Idy Diallo the other rumored transfer from two weeks ago. Diallo also has not officially asked for his release yet either.

If Milon does leave the Heights it will certainly leave a void as he was clearly the best outside shooter on the team last season. Milon led the team with a 49.4% three point shooting percentage and was second on the team in three pointers made with 39. While Ty Graves comes on board with the reputation as being a good outside shooter, Milon certainly would’ve had a role as a shooting threat off the bench.

Milon has not spoken publically yet about his potential transfer, but the timing is on the heels of BC getting a commitment from guard Kyran Bowman last week.

BCI will have more if anything becomes official.
