The women's basketball team joined BC men's hockey in New York over the weekend as Coach Johnson and the Eagles took on Fordham. The Eagles were looking for their first road win but were unable to get it as they lost to the Rams by a score of 56-49.

The Eagles did not have the lead at any point during the game, with Fordham's largest lead being 13 points. The Eagles continued to play a messy game and committed 17 turnovers compared to Fordham's 7. The Eagles also struggled with fouls, going 0-3 from the free throw line. Meanwhile, the Rams made all 10 fouls shots that they took. Kelly Hughes also struggled on Sunday, scoring only 4 points.

Despite the disappointing loss, the Eagles did have a few positives to take away from the game. Mariella Fasoula continues to dominate, and she scored 20 points yesterday. Freshman Emma Guy is also continuing to heat up, and she scored 10 points for the Eagles. Overall, BC was impressive in rebounding as well, making 35 rebounds in contrast to Fordham's 24.

The Eagles return to Conte Forum at 4 PM on Saturday to face Providence. The team will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots.
