The Eagles, following a shocking loss to the Hartford Hawks at Conte Forum, shocked the world yet again by taking down the Auburn Tigers 72-71 on a Nik Popovic tip-in in the last second of the game.

Sacred Heart has had a roller coaster month of December. The Pioneers, too, lost to the Hartford Hawks to start the month of December, before defeating UMass Lowell. The Pioneers then fell to the Yale Bulldogs before defeating the Lafayette Leopards 85-61.
