Ok, BC showed some signs of life in the third, but this one is still well out of reach heading to the final frame.
Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson returned to the game after exiting at the end of the first half, and promptly fumbled while being pressured by Kevin Kavalec. After Connor Strachan recovered, the Eagles scored on a screen pass from Patrick Towles to Tyler Rouse that went for a 39-yard touchdown.
But Louisville quickly answered with an eight-play, 77-yard drive, capped off by another Jackson touchdown run (his 2nd of the day to go with 4 passing scores) to make it 45-7.
Jackson would score his third rushing touchdown just moments later, this time going right up the middle for a 53-yard score. It's still ugly here, but come on, you've sat through this much, you may as well stay with us for the fourth quarter!
