Boston College Football’s Harold Landry Named Second Team All-ACC

Teammates Matt Milano, Connor Strachan All-ACC Honorable Mentions

The All-ACC teams were announced Monday afternoon, which were selected by the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association (ACSMA). Several Boston College student-athletes received accolades.

Most notably, Harold Landry was named All-ACC second team by the ACSMA. Landry is tied for the national lead for sacks with 15 on the year. The mark broke BC’s single season record for sacks, previously held held by Eric Storz and Mike Mamula, who set the record in 1997 and 1994 respectively. Landry has also forced seven fumbles on the year, and recorded 20.5 tackles-for-loss, good for a tie for fourth in the country. Landry is just five tackles-for-loss behind Mathias Kiwanuka’s mark of 25.5 set in 2004.

Landry’s teammates Matt Milano and Connor Strachan were named honorable mentions for the All-ACC team.

Landry, Milano and Strachan’s efforts helped BC’s defense become the nation’s 9th best, holding opposing offenses to just 310.6 yards per game.
