The Eagles earned a win yesterday in the last regular season game of the 2016 season, defeating Wake Forest by a score of 17-14. The Eagle will end the year with a 6-6 record and are now waiting to find out which bowl game they will play in. Bowls and match-ups will be announced on Sunday, Dec. 4.
The Eagles went up early, scoring 10 points in the first quarter and holding Wake Forest scoreless. The Eagles then let Wake stage a comeback in the third, which ended with the Demon Deacons leading 14-10. BC regained the lead in the 4th with another touch down, winning the game 17-14.
The Eagles went 6-6 this season overall and 2-4 in the ACC, an improvement over last year's 0-8 ACC record. The Eagles ended the season on a 2 game winning streak after defeating UConn 3-0 last weekend.
