Boston College Football vs UConn Open Thread

BC's bowl hopes are still alive, but that could change today if they don't take care of business.

As disappointed as Boston College fans have been this year, UConn is having an even tougher season (though barely). The Huskies have lost four in a row, and couldn't even get UCF to take home the fake rivalry trophy they invented after the Knights defeated them.

That said, UConn does have a win over Virginia (not terribly impressive, but ACC wins are something BC fans can no longer scoff at), and played Syracuse within a touchdown, so any Eagles fans expecting an easy win (are there any?) should probably think twice. A loss here would doom Boston College to a second consecutive losing season, and would make this season a failure by every metric the team has put forward.

If there is some good news for BC, it's that the Eagles have never lost to the Huskies in 12 tries (10-0-2 all time), and have won the last nine in a row in the series. With both teams struggling offensively, this could be a close, but plodding affair.

But enough from me, what do you guys think of the Eagles' home finale?
