After missing 6 games due to eye surgery, BC hockey has announced that Coach York will be back behind the bench tomorrow. York returns as the Eagles take on Arizona State University for a game that will be played tomorrow at Conte at 3 PM.
This is the second year that York has missed time due to eye problems - a detached retina caused him to miss time in 2013.
Associate Head Coach Greg Brown led the Eagles in York's absence. The Eagles went 5-0-1 in that time, defeating Maine twice, earning wins against UNH, UMass, and Providence, and tying Merrimack. Brown has been the leader behind the bench in all of BC's Hockey East games this season and continue to prove that he would be a worthy successor to Coach York when the time comes.
York's return is welcome good news for BC fans that, with the exception of women's hockey, have had a weekend of losses and frustration so far.
