NHL

Buffalo Sabres: Brian Gionta picked up an assist in Buffalo's loss to Calgary.

Calgary Flames: Johnny Gaudreau recorded an assist in Calgary's win over Buffalo and scored a goal in the team's loss to Carolina. Johnny's goal was classic Johnny Hockey:

Carolina Hurricanes: Noah Hanifin assisted on 3 of Carolina's 4 goals in the Hurricanes' win over Calgary.

Columbus Blue Jackets: Cam Atkinson recorded a single assist this week.

Florida Panthers: Mike Matheson scored his 1st and 2nd NHL goals this week. His first was a one-timer in a loss to Tampa and his second was scored through traffic off a loose puck. 

New Jersey Devils: Cory Schneider earned two wins this week, but he made the most saves (34) in New Jersey's loss to Boston. Schneider continues to be hurt by his offense's inability to score.

New York Rangers: Kevin Hayes and Chris Kreider both scored goals in NY's 7-4 win over San Jose. Hayes was in a good position and took a pass to put the puck in in front of the net, while Kreider's goal came off a tricky wrister. Kreider also recorded 2 assists this week. 

Washington Capitals: Brooks Orpik picked up an assist in the Caps' loss to NY.

AHL

Albany Devils: Brian Gibbons scored Albany's first goal in their victory over Providence on Sunday. Miles Wood recorded an assist on Albany's OT goal.

Charlotte Checkers: Patrick Brown recorded 2 assists in Charlotte's 8-3 win over Iowa.

Hershey Bears: Paul Carey scored the Bears' first goal in their Saturday win over Bridgeport.

Iowa Wild: Alex Tuch and Adam Gilmour assisted on the same goal in Iowa's loss to Charlotte this weekend. Gilmour also picked up a second assist during that game. Gilmour then scored Iowa's GWG when the Wild defeated Charlotte on Saturday.

Providence Bruins: Tommy Cross scored the game-tying goal that sent Sunday's game into OT, but the Bruins ended up losing to Albany.

Springfield Thunderbirds: Ian McCoshen scored his first pro goal this weekend in Springfield's Saturday victory.

St. John's Ice Caps: Philip Samuelsson assisted on the GWG against Providence.

Utica Comets: Thatcher Demko made 24 saves and allowed 3 goals in Utica's loss to Albany.


ECHL

Elmira Jackals: John Muse helped Elmira to a win on Friday, making 38 saves and allowing only 2 goals.

South Carolina Stingrays: Parker Milner made 33 saves in South Carolina's 4-3 loss to Greenville on Saturday.

NWHL

Boston Pride: Alex Carpenter recorded a goal and 2 assists in Boston's 5-1 win over New York. Blake Bolden also picked up an assist.

Connecticut Whale: Haley Skarupa continued to dominate for the Whale in their 7-5 win over Buffalo, scoring 2 goals and picking up an assist. Kelli Stack and Dana Trivigno also contributed on offense - they both scored a goal, and Stack recorded 3 assists.

Europe

Gentofte Stars: Cam Spiro has 8 goals and 2 assists in 10 games.

HC Karlovy Vary: Pat Mullane scored his team's only goal in a loss on Tuesday.

Stavanger Oilers: Tim Kunes recorded his 9th assist of the season on Thursday. He has 10 points in 14 games.

TPS: Dave Spina recorded two assists in his team's Saturday victory.

SPHL

Mississippi River Kings: Brad Barone earned a win in his first game of the season on Saturday. He allowed 3 goals but made 38 saves.

- Nathan Gerbe has played 1 game for Genève-Servette HC but didn't record any points.
- Travis Jeke was released by South Caroline (ECHL) on October 16.
