Buffalo Sabres: Brian Gionta scored Buffalo's fourth and fifth goals in their 6-2 win over Edmonton. Gionta's first goal was a redirect in front of the net, and his second was a wrister.

Calgary Flames: The Flames lost all 3 of their games last week. Johnny Gaudreau picked up one assist over the three losses.

Carolina Hurricanes: Noah Hanifin assisted on Carolina's first goal in their 5-4 loss to the Jets.

Columbus Blue Jackets:  Cam Atkinson recorded an assist in Saturday's loss to San Jose and a goal in Thursday's loss to Boston. Atkinson's goal was a terrific one timer on the power play, but it wasn't enough to lead Columbus to a win.

Dallas Stars: Pat Eaves recorded 3 assists in 2 games for Dallas last week.

Florida Panthers: Mike Matheson picked up an OT winner assist on Thursday to lead the Panthers to victory over New Jersey. Everything he did to lead up to the goal was great and you should watch it.

New Jersey Devils: Cory Schneider made 32 saves in New Jersey's OT loss to Florida and 31 saves in their loss to Tampa. (Somebody please send Cory Schneider some help.)

New York Rangers: Chris Kreider scored 2 goals and recorded 1 assist last week, while Kevin Hayes picked up an assist as well. Kreider scored a beauty of a goal in NY's win over the Islanders, getting behind the defense to shoot the puck. His second goal of the week was a speedy wrist shot in NY's loss to St. Louis.

Tampa Bay Lightning: Brian Boyle scored the game tying goal in Tampa's win over Detroit. Boyle's shot bounced off the post and into the net.

Washington Capitals: Brooks Orpik assisted on Washington's GWG against the Islanders on Saturday.

Charlotte Checkers: Patrick Brown picked up a goal and an assist during Charlotte's opening weekend, but the Checkers lost both games.

Hershey Bears: Paul Carey recorded an assist in Hershey's 5-4 loss to Rochester this week.

Iowa Wild: Alex Tuch scored a shootout winner for Iowa on Saturday. He also picked up an assist in Friday's loss to Manitoba.

San Antonio Rampage: Joe Whitney had 9 shots this weekend, but was unable to get a goal.

St. John's Ice Caps: Philip Samuelsson recorded the lone assist on the Ice Caps' last goal in their 6-3 loss to Hartford.

Utica Comets: Thatcher Demko made 28 saves and allowed 5 goals in Utica's 5-2 loss to Toronto on Sunday.

Adirondack Thunder: Patch Alber assisted on Adirondack's first goal in their win over Manchester on Saturday.

Connecticut Whale: Connecticut was the only NWHL to see points from former Eagles this week. Dana Trivigno and Kelli Stack each recorded an assist in CT's 4-2 win over the Riveters, while Haley Skarupa continued her impressive rookie campaign with 2 assists.

Boston Blades: Both of Boston's goals last weekend were scored by former Eagles. Erin Kickham scored Boston's lone goal in their OT loss to Toronto on October 15. Kate Leary scored Boston's only goal in Sunday's 6-1 loss to Toronto. Melissa Bizzari picked up an assist on the goal.

Gentofte Stars: I'm having trouble find game by game stats for Gentofte, but Cam Spiro has 5 goals in 8 games this season.

Karlovy Vary: Pat Mullane recorded an assist in his team's win on Sunday.

Stavanger: Tim Kunes picked up an assist in Thursday's win.

TPS: Dave Spina picked up 2 assists this week. TPS is struggling this season, having lost their last 4 games.

ZSC Lions: Ryan Shannon picked up 2 assists in his team's 5-2 win over Wolfsburg on Tuesday and scored the first goal in ZSC's Sunday win over Geneve-Servett.
