Myles Willis Diagnosed With Mono

No timetable has been set for return

Bob DeChiara-USA TODAY Sports

A conspicuous omission from the Boston College lineup for the game against the Maine Black Bears was running back Myles Willis. While the absence of the junior back out of Conyers, Ga. was glaring, the actual reasons for Willis not dressing were not made immediately available to the public.

After the game, however, Boston College head coach Steve Addazio announced that Willis had been diagnosed with mononucleosis and no timetable had been set for his return.

The good news is that Willis isn't hurt, as many feared when he emerged on the sidelines not in pads. But the bad news is mono can sometimes take a while to recover from. Hopefully with some rest he will be ready for one of the next two games.
