2016 Massachusetts TE Sean McKeon Commits To Michigan Over Boston College

New, comments

Can't win 'em all.

Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports

Steve Addazio's fence around New England took a bit of a blow yesterday as Dudley tight end Sean McKeon committed to the Michigan Wolverines:

McKeon a 2*, had offers from major programs like Boston College, Pittsburgh, Virginia and Virginia Tech and a slew of lesser schools like UConn. He was rated the number

This loss shouldn't be a big surprise for Eagles fans.  Addazio clearly is targeting players who want to be here, and it seems that if a recruit drags their feet, he is going to move on and grab someone that wants to don the maroon and gold. Plus Boston College already has two potential tight ends in the Class of 2016 in Scooter Harrington and Ray Marten. They also are very high on 4* Luke Farrell, and you would have to imagine with a smaller class like BC is expecting that they wouldn't want it flooded with tight ends.

Best of luck in MIchigan Sean.
