Who to root for if you root for BC

Candice Ward-USA TODAY Sports

Anaheim Ducks vs. Calgary Flames
BC favorite and Calder Trophy finalist Johnny Gaudreau plays for Calgary and racked up 6 points in Round 1. Bill Arnold was moved to the roster following the conclusion of the Adirondack Flames season, but has yet to play. There are no BC alums currently playing for the Ducks.
Root For: The Flames

Chicago Blackhawks vs. Minnesota Wild
Neither team has BC players on their NHL roster. Parker Milner plays for the Wild's ECHL affiliate, and both Adam Gilmour and Alex Tuch were drafted by the Wild. Chicago drafted Chris Calnan.
Root For: Either, but Minnesota has a slight BC edge.

Montreal Canadiens vs. Tampa Bay Lightning
No BC alums play for Montreal. 2007 BC alum Brian Boyle plays for Tampa Bay. He scored 1 goal in Round 1.
Root For: The Lightning

New York Rangers vs. Washington Capitals
The Rangers have recent BC alums Kevin Hayes and Chris Kreider, both of whom notched GWGs in Round 1. Brooks Orpik, former BC defenseman, plays for the Capitals.
Root For: The Rangers, but it's good if the Caps win too.
