The better team won on Saturday as the Syracuse Orange dominated play and beat the underdog Eagles 1-0 in the NCAA quarterfinal. The victory punches Syracuse's ticket to the NCAA College Cup.

Syracuse scored their game winning goal with under 12 minutes to play on their 13th corner kick of the game. BC goalie Alex Kapp stood on his head for much of the second half, denying 'Cuse on a string of consecutive corner kicks midway through the period, but eventually the Orange found the back of the net.

Thus ends BC's surprising run to the Elite 8. Expectations will be heightened next season as the core of this young BC team should return intact.
