Boston College Women's Basketball at Purdue Game Time, TV Information, Previews and More

The women play in the ACC/B1G Challenge tonight and it's a rare televised showcase for the Eagles

Drew Hoo, The Heights

The Boston College women's basketball team is off to one of their best starts in recent memory, running off 5 wins to start the season before dropping a decision to ranked Oklahoma on Saturday to fall to 5-1. Tonight, the Eagles travel to Indiana to take on fellow 5-1 team Purdue in the ACC/B1G Challenge. Purdue is currently receiving votes in the AP Women's Basketball top 25, so this will be a solid challenge for the Eagles and a rare opportunity for them to showcase on national television. Stats and Trends: Boston College has not won an ACC/B1G Challenge game since 2009 when they topped Penn State. BC is 2-5 all time in the ACC/B1G challenge and has an 0-3 all-time record against Purdue.

Purdue's recent results: Like the Eagles, Purdue started the season 5-0 before falling in their sixth game to get to 5-1. Purdue knocked off #22 Louisville 62-60 last weekend before falling in overtime to #13 Stanford, so this will likely be a tough test for BC.
