Episode #45 of the Eastern Bias Hockey Podcast is now available for download either from the show's site, or through iTunes and other podcast services. You can also listen via the embedded player below.

This week, Joe and Shep were joined by Ryan Lambert (@twolinepass) from Yahoo's Puck Daddy blog and the always opinionated Lowell fan Tony Patronick (@patronick) to focus largely on last weekend's "Belpot" tournament, the Friendship Four held in Belfast. UML won the trophy in a shootout after a 5-5 tie against Brown, one night after topping Northeastern in the semifinal via a late, dramatic game-tying goal and a game winner in OT.

In addition to discussing Lowell and last weekend's tournament, Ryan and Tony weigh in with their thoughts on the bigger picture in Hockey East so far this year. Who are the real contenders? Who will be on the outside looking in come March?

Joe and Shep also answer a number of audience-submitted questions via Twitter... including predicting what would ultimately be the downfall of Hockey East.

Listen to this week's episode below, and be sure to subscribe on iTunes. As always, thanks for tuning in!
