Jonesing for some BC-related hockey in the midst of the mid-semester break? The World Junior Championship is here to scratch the itch, with Colin White and the US national junior team taking the ice this afternoon in a much-anticipated clash with Canada in Helsinki, Finland. USA-Canada matchups are always emotionally charged at any level of hockey, and their matchups at World Juniors in recent years have often produced legendary games.

USA vs. Canada - World Junior Hockey Championship Group Stage

Game Time: 8 PM Helsinki time - 1 PM Eastern Time

How To Watch on TV: The game will be broadcast live via NHL Network in the US and TSN in Canada.

Live Streaming Info: NHL.com will have a live stream of NHLN's broadcast for users in the US.

Radio Info: TSN Radio will be carrying the radio broadcast in Canada and in past years it's been possible to listen via streaming in the US. Here's the link to Toronto's TSN 1050 AM.

The last matchup: On New Year's Eve last year, Canada beat the US 5-3 and rarely seemed threatened by the highly-touted Americans, whose status as early tournament favorites fizzled. The US went on to lose to Russia in the quarterfinals; Canada won gold.
