BC Interruption was on hand yesterday as the Boston College women's basketball team downed UMass Lowell 66-55. The win improved BC to 9-1 on the season and may squeeze the Eagles in to the Top 30 when the RPI rankings update to include yesterday's games (BC entered the game at #32).
The Eagles continued to show the balance that has been their hallmark. Their leading scorer, Mariella Fasoula, had 12 points. Kailey Edwards, Kelly Hughes, Nicole Boudreau and Katie Quandt all added 9+, while two others, Martina Mosetti and Alexa Coulombe, were among the team leaders in assists on the day.
The women's basketball team returns to action after Christmas with two games next week. They face Northeastern next Monday afternoon at NU's Cabot Center, then return home next Wednesday to play Bryant. ACC play begins shortly after the new year.
