After a few tough weeks, the Boston College Eagles went in to Sunday's game hoping to defend their home court and snap a 6-game losing streak. Despite an up-and-down first half, the Eagles were able to build up a solid lead by halftime, then blew the doors off Maine in the second half to nail down the victory. Enjoy the highlights, courtesy of BCEagles.com:
Five different BC players hit double figures in the win, led by Eli Carter and Jerome Robinson with 16 points each. Carter also led the team in rebounds (9) and assists (8). A.J. Turner, Darryl Hicks and Dennis Clifford were the other Eagles who scored ten points or more.
The team now has the rest of the week to focus on final exams before getting back to work over the weekend. Boston College hosts the Delaware Blue Hens on Saturday night at Conte Forum and will look to build off the momentum of this win.
