Boston College Football Recruiting: LB John Lamot Commits To Boston College

Second Eagle in a week, as scholarships free up

Greg M. Cooper-USA TODAY Sports

Boston College continues to use the scholarships that they built up when players transferred or left the school at the end of the school year. Today, the second 2016 recruit in less than a week committed as, John Lamot chose the Eagles.

Lamot, 6'2 215lbs, is listed as a dual threat quarterback on his Rivals page, but a source at Boston College tells this writer that he will be a linebacker at the Heights. Residing in Mebane, North Carolina, Lamot threw for over 2,000 yards, and 21 touchdowns. You can check out his film below. Welcome to the Heights John!
